Alphabet on the Danforth

The very same street artist who painted the Art of the Danforth logos on the sidewalk for us has been working on yet another project:  drawing the letters of the alphabet along Danforth, starting at Woodycrest  moving east along Danforth on the north side.  He’s currently at the letter M at Dewhurst,  and you can expect to see him bringing the letters M to Z into the Art of the Danforth area in the next week Mother nature pending of course.  If you want to connect with Victor, email sidewalkart@hotmail.com.

 

Bell Boxes

The Yellow Door Learning Centre at 6 St. Joseph House is looking for artists to participate in the 2012 Bell Boxes Murals Project. Selected artists will paint a mural on one of the Bell Canada outdoor junction boxes located throughout the North Downtown Yonge and Danforth East neighbourhoods. Mural painting will take place during late July and August, 2012.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS – MONDAY, JUNE 11, 2012.  Artists will be paid.  More information on how to apply, here.
